  • Tunxis is part of the Legislative Internship Program in which select students work as an aide to a state political leader in Hartford, Connecticut in exchange for credit. There the student learns about the state’s political process and important laws and policies. Rafaele Fierro is the campus advisor to this program; once the student becomes educated at the capitol, they report to him and eventually are assessed on what they have learned.
