Civic Learning

As a central part of TDC's mission, our Civic Learning program area embodies a national commitment to preparing all community college students for citizenship as informed, engaged and responsible members of our society. TDC assists in the development of the combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make a difference. Additionally, the academy trains and inspires community college faculty and staff to engage students in shared decision making and in taking responsibility for making the classroom and their campuses the best that they can be serving as a model for community and societal engagement.
